Everyone knows one. Every small town has one. I am not talking a couple of brothel, but one thing with much more pizzazz, zing and fiery gossip. Say howdy to the beauty salon. In the late Forties by means of the evolution of women’s suffrage and other female-related battles, the wonder salon was once deemed the beauty shop. Now think about what I have just written.
I’m sorry, this place is over rated. My 4th time right here and it is both bad service, dangerous meals or a combination. Yes, the concept is cool however it doesn’t deliver as supposedly among the best restaurants in Memphis. I solely came this last time due to the Hattie B’s (which I love!!!) collaboration. It was not horrible…the chicken was good. That small salad was sixteen bucks and I paid 23 for hen thigh. Come on. I had to ask for brand spanking new silverware for each of us-literally had food on it. I simply don’t get it and I’m no spring hen to exposure to quality meals and repair.

Today we had a wonderful brunch at The Beauty Shop. My bf and I received there round 1pm and have been seated pretty rapidly at a table outside. The food was delicious! I received shrimp & grits and, being a shrimp and grits connoisseur, I cherished them! They had the suitable consistency and excellent spicy to creamy ratio. I additionally got a sangria with champagne which was nicely made (learn: robust). My bf acquired the banana pancakes and he said he is ever had such hardy pancakes. He liked it! We shared biscuits and butter as well. The service was superb also. Our waitress, Katherine, was very pleasant and knew the menu and specials like the back of her hand. I would absolutely suggest this place. It’s appears to be like nice and the meals is even higher!
Make reservations! We solely waited for them to clean off a table and we were instantly seated since we had made reservations prior. It’s a cute place, with good food and drinks. They did an incredible job of transitioning a beauty store right into a restaurant. The cubicles are in the old stylist stations. The outdated mirrors are nonetheless on the wall and then the tables in the midst of the ground used the outdated hair dryer chairs! They had 2 infused vodkas.
